Will my clip in extensions fall out easily?

No, the grips on our hair extensions are designed to stay securely in your hair and you should not even feel them once you have put them in.  They come in different sized wefts with curved grips so that they sit nicely against the shape of your head and look totally natural.

To apply the clip in extensions, divide your hair into segments and place the wefts of the hair across the head and use the clips to secure them into place in your real hair.  Teasing or backcombing the hair at the base of the head can add extra grip for the clip to stay in place also.

Which weight of clip in extensions should I get?

This will depend upon your real hair - if you have fine, thin hair then we suggest you use our 120g - 140g clip in packs.  If your hair is medium - thick then we recommend that you get between the 160g - 220g clip ins. For those of you who want to have super thick, mermaid hair you should go for the 220g packs providing that your hair is medium - thick.  The amount of packs you purchase should also be based on how much volume you are looking for, we suggest starting with 2 packs, unless you have thin hair in which case you might be good with one.

How long does it take to put in the clip in hair extensions?

Clip in extensions are so easy to apply that once you get the hang of it they can be applied in as little as 5 minutes!  The application process simply involves dividing your hair into segments and attaching the wefts of hair to your natural hair using the clips.

How much do hair clip in extensions cost?

The cost of clip in hair extensions will vary depending upon the quality of the hair and the supplier.  Our hair extensions are made from the finest quality 100% remy human hair, meaning that all of the cuticles are intact and the hair smooth and natural.  Some suppliers sell synthetic clip in extensions, this means they cannot be styled using any kind of heat appliances and often look very cheap. If you want your extensions to look natural then always get 100% remy human hair such as ours.

Will clip in hair extensions damage my natural hair?

Clip in extensions are designed to add instant fullness and glamour with easy application.  The clip slides right into the natural hair and will not damage natural hair providing that they are applied, removed and cared for properly.  Some types of extensions can cause long term damage and breakage with various chemicals, extreme weight and even pulling on the root so much that bald spots are caused.  This is why our clip in extensions are so popular - you can achieve the appearance of longer, thicker hair without damaging or halting the growth of your natural hair.

Can I sleep wearing my clip in extensions?

We do not recommend that you sleep with your clip in extensions still in.  The clips on the hair extensions could damage your real hair as you move in your sleep and the clips themselves could be ruined with the movement too.  To get the maximum life from your beautiful new extensions, remove them carefully before bed, gently brush them and store them in a safe, dry spot.

Can I wear clip in hair extensions if I have short hair?

Yes, people love wearing our extensions when they are growing out their real hair, have just left the hair salon with a bad haircut or are simply looking to add some length and fullness.  Clip in extensions are great if your hair is short as it is so easy to blend the extensions and we suggest that you try and take the wefts to as far up the head as you can without them being visible.  Remember, also that it is fine to trim into and cut your extensions a little too if it helps you achieve the loom that you desire, particularly around the face.

Can I wear my clip in extensions every day?

Yes, our clip in extensions can be worn as often or as little as you like.  However, in the long term wearing clip in extensions daily could damage your natural hair more than alternative extensions due to the weight.  Our tape in extensions would be much more suitable if you want to wear extensions every day. 

Our extensions are the highest quality, 100% remy human hair which means they can be styled and treated just like your own hair.  Unlike other permanent hair extensions, clip in extensions are removed at the end of the day/night so are not put through as much wear and tear or washing.  If you take good care of your new clip in extensions they can last up to a year.

Should I wash my clip in hair extensions?

Our clip in extensions are 100% remy human hair so you can wash it in the same way that you would wash your own hair.  As with all extensions we recommend that you use good quality sulphate free hair products and regular deep conditioning treatments so they last as long as possible.

Can I go swimming with clip in hair extensions?

Although we strongly recommend that you do not go swimming with your clip in extensions in, if it is unavoidable there are things that you can do to help to protect the hair.  The main reason we do not advise swimming with extensions is to prevent the hair from tangling, so by tying all of your hair up in a bun or a pony, the tangling can be minimized,  Chlorine and saltwater will damage all hair, so try to keep the time in the water to an absolute minimum and then wash thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.
