Add one micro ring onto the needle and open the hook 2. Hook a piece of your own hair and push the micro ring over the hair 3. Add one micro ring ontothe needle and open the hook 4. Moroccoil and Amika are the top two brands of products that work really well with our hair! Definitely stay away from heavy oils, a light oil is the best kind to use! Again, the best oil is going to be a Moroccoil or Amika oil. You can use heat and everything as normal, so no worries there!
Easy installation and so soft!! I got the Balayage darkest brown to chestnut my family members thought I had colored my hair. They keep telling me how great it looks! I only used 30 of the 50 to start(May add a few more) because I wanted to seem more natural. I am using dry shampoo on my roots and plan to was only once or twice per week.
I will try to remember to update after a while.
**Update**
It’s been a few weeks,(pic with pink shirt) only added a couple more and they are even better that before! After washing and styling a few times they have become like part of my hair. Don’t seem as separated and look more natural. This is the thick hair I always wanted. Easy to style(I sleep with my hair wrapped around a scarf and unwrap, comb a bit and go). I have been using a hair oil on the ends an hour before washing and a leave in I bought for them- still super soft and strong ends.
This was my first time installing i-tips on my own, and I didn't want to pay for expensive hair just to practice, so these are a great alternative! I was able to install these smoothly, and they don't seem to tangle much. I have heat styled them successfully ,and didn't have to color them to match my hair. These would be excellent for adding volume, but maybe not the best quality for adding length to shorter hair.
They added fullness to my hair with very little pieces. I ordered 3 packages & only used about ½ of one. I have VERY fine thin hair; I was beyond impressed. Very good quality!
